Thank you and congratulations to our hardworking apprentices this month

Apprentice of the month - Joe Darby

Congratulations to Joe Darby for winning the February Apprentice of the Month award. Joe, a first year apprentice site manager working with Midas Construction in Abingdon was nomination by Grant Millar, Operations Manager for Midas and Keith Batson, Project Manager, for how Joe has taken on additional responsibility and showing initiative on the project in areas such as progress review and reporting, to aid the conclusion of one element of the project. This has proved invaluable to the management team.

In addition, Grant remarked that “Joe has started to take control of situations by dealing directly with subcontractors to resolve logistical issues and by obtaining the correct information required to resolve problems. He has demonstrated his understanding of the importance of liaising with the rest of the project team on both the logistical and technical aspects.”
